Farm Notes — June 2022: Parsley the Duck, a Peacock Family and a Rainbow

Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all thirteen from June in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.

Duck days

Two close Muscovy duck friends move together like clockwork, almost like a loom. One duckling looked like something out of a cartoon, and Parsley was so small once! Bath time got so lively we wondered if the ducks would have any feathers left, and one sweet duck just wanted some attention.

Snacks, scratches and Happy

Cucumbers went down by the bunch, and the lettuce was eaten straight from the field. Someone had a very itchy back, and I checked in on Happy: are you OK?

Hawaii’s wild side

Watch out for the cane toad — it’s an invasive species and it’s toxic, so don’t touch! We also met a peacock mom and her chick (she’s a female, so not so flashy), saw a rainbow from the car, and found a strange bug — do you know what it is?
