Fire recovery

Help us rebuild after the wildfire

On September 15, 2025, a wildfire burned the farm vehicle and damaged roofs, the chicken play area, the pigeon cages and the cat room. The main coop survived — and so did everyone in it. Your support pays for repairs, feed, medicine and vet care.

Then and now

Before & after the fire

We built these coops by hand, one roof and one net at a time. Tap a picture to watch.

Before — June 2022 — **June 2022** Doubling the coops by hand: a new roof, more shade and airy netting.

After — September 2025 — **September 2025** Charred roofs, burnt netting and a melted farm vehicle. The chickens, pigeons and cats all made it out.

Thank you to everyone who has helped so far.
