Farm Notes — December 2025: Grey’s Colorful Grandkids, Okara Treats and a Water-Loving Cat

Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all eleven from December in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.

Grey’s family

The chicks are growing up strong, and Grey’s daughter is doing a great job with them. By the end of the month, Grey’s grandchildren were growing fast — and they’re a colorful bunch.

The rooster corner

Marron is a rooster with charming round eyes. Rida is such a laid-back guy — and just looking at him makes me want to see Heart.

Mealtimes, eggs and evenings

At dusk, the chickens head up to high places. No matter who lays them, eggs are eggs, and every one is precious. Okara gives everyone energy and tastes great when we all eat together — and dining is entertainment: food tastes even better when you’re being treated, right?

Cats and a goose

At breakfast time, cats and chickens alike think someone else’s food looks more delicious. Cute Tora loves water, even though Tora is a cat, and Fifi is a girl with high standards of beauty. Then came a cat overload: their attention-seeking got the better of me once again.
