Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all forty-eight from July in one place — kittens, cats, chickens and a few surprises. Tap any of them to play it right here.
Mom and the kittens
The mother cat kept up her hard work raising her kittens. At 18 days old they were very cute, and each one’s personality started to show. A senior cat helped look after a rescued kitten, and one little one earned the nickname “the dreamy one.”

Little adventurers
As the month went on, the kittens had far too much freedom, staged a very slow fight, and showed off their striking faces. Kittens are adventurers, and the siblings got more active every day. The rescued cat family moved into a new cat room — though one kitten is still a bit of a scaredy-cat.

The grown-up cats
An orange tabby with a cute voice, a natural cat toy, and a cat who talks to me. The cats played with hay, practiced some cat kung fu, and enjoyed their lunch. We took a good look at a very stretched-out Natsu, a black cat tried to follow a senior cat, and sisters Natsu and Hanabi showed what good friends they are.

Cats and dogs
A free cat and a dog on a leash, a dog swimming through the grass, and a dog-and-cat sparring match. Some eggs got cracked, so they went to the cats — and to a dog too.
Chickens, chicks and other birds
The ducks made a big fuss, and a rose-ringed parakeet fell asleep while eating a banana. We had a 3-day-old chick and more cute chicks, plus chicks meeting guinea pigs. Sonata was surrounded by hens, a rooster was curious about the camera, Glico was as cute as ever, and Mopsy enjoyed the sun. One chicken looked envious, and another is super tame.

Odds and ends
And a few more: a pool that may be too small, baby crickets, precious little ones and a healing angel. Someone found a great toy, someone’s grooming turned out to be someone else’s bottom, and a comeback arrived far too late. Plus youth running by, and a solo training session I interrupted — and was healed by.
