Chickens big and small
A giant chicken appeared! We admired a magnificent comb, and a chick noticed the camera. Fuyuto, a six-month-old rooster, sometimes doesn’t come home.
A kitten, a dog and tails
A kitten drank rainwater. A tail stood straight up, and a dog wagged its tail as hard as a tail can wag.
Tortoise and guinea fowl
Here is a close-up of a tortoise at mealtime. And this is what a guinea fowl’s alarm call sounds like.
Little moments
Total strangers! Someone asked for biscuits, someone else just wanted to play, and the month ended with a sleepy Ponyo.
