Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all twenty-six from November in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.
Mother hens and their chicks
A hen walked slowly so she wouldn’t drop her chick, and a little chick we rescued got its name. Karaage took a sand bath with her chicks, and the Karaage and Sona families were both out and about. The Sona family made their debut in the chicken coop, one chick snuggled up to mom Sona, and another mother and her chicks shared a sand bath.
Hens, roosters and eggs
Cho dozed off for a little nap, and Othello Black is hard at work protecting the hens. We also shared the secret behind a glossy egg, and little Purin laid a little egg of her own.
Mealtimes in the coop
Afternoons in the chicken coops are calm, and mealtime is always a highlight. It turns out there’s an order to who eats first, everyone wants a share, and someone made it very clear they wanted water!
The cat corner
Natsu let us know she was done with work for the day, and Hanabi and Shimako pulled some funny faces. Our farm cats help protect the chickens, and one of them caught a mouse. Miffy the rabbit and Madara the cat are good friends, Fuyuto came home for a happy reunion after a long time away, and someone had to be reminded that cat food is for cats.
Goats and ducks
The goats love banana leaves, and we met a goat kid just two days old. The ducks dove into their pool — though it turns out they like muddy water, too.
Thanks for following along with life at Chicken Paradise this November. New clips go up every few days on our YouTube channel.
