Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all thirty-one from October in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.
Cats and chickens, side by side
Here the chickens and the cats share the farm. Madara showed off her good looks, Ao got much too close to the camera, and the girl cats held a little get-together of their own.
New goats, Iroha and Lucky’s kids
Three goats made their first appearance this month — they’re here as our mowing crew — and before long they were taking naps. Iroha turned out to be a master digger and later went racing around at full speed. And Lucky’s kids got very excited about their toys.
Mother hens and chicks
The Princess’s friend was out and about with some chicks, and a hen built her nest the natural way. Karaage is mothering a group of chicks and working hard to raise them.
Chicken characters
Hello from Barbie, and hello from Purin! Big sister Oreo was in a bad mood, Taiyo and Glico have a rather delicate relationship, and Chobi seems to be getting a little more gray. We also met a hen with wonderfully fluffy cheeks.
Everyday life in the flock
Some clips are just ordinary farm days: a clean-plate meal in ASMR, a bug-catching expert who slipped up, roosters everywhere you look and hens enjoying a lazy afternoon. Sunday showed us what a real foodie looks like. October was still hot, and one passenger was told to hurry up and get out of the car.
Ducks, a tortoise, papayas and a parakeet
The duck bath got very crowded, and Ringo is in the middle of changing his feathers. A tortoise showed us how to walk backwards, and the papaya trees are giving us two fruits every day. We also introduced Happa, a rescued rose-ringed parakeet.
Thanks for spending October with us at Chicken Paradise. New clips go up every few days on our YouTube channel.
