Good morning! Blue sky today. Good morning over here, too — you’re so cute! A girl with a distinctive, cartoon-like hairdo just came in. She loves the camera, and I’ll tell you more about her next time.
Kirin
Kirin, it’s been a long time since you were in a video. Everyone’s asking how you are. Oh, you answer me! As I thought, something is wrong with his feet: some toes are missing, and there are lumps stuck on them that I need to take off. And if I touch his face… “Hoyaa!” As you can see, Kirin is doing great. His cage is decent for a rooster’s, but I want to give him a much bigger one, so I’ll keep working on it.
Around the farm
The original chick-open members have grown so big! This one just won’t turn toward the camera. Health check under way. Happy likes people more than pigeons. Parsley looks beautiful, and the ducks that were new not long ago have grown up so fast. And this is Taro, a rooster who loves people a little too much.
We give the chickens vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away. They’re pesticide-free, and there’s enough for everyone, which helps a lot. Whole broccoli is easier for them to eat if you cut it into smaller pieces.
Chako and Marron
Someone who always comments asked, “How is Chako?” so here’s a little feature. Chako is fine! Chako likes pecking at people’s fingers and nails, right where it hurts. You’ve gotten so big! Here’s Chako on a walk (no, that’s not food) — now with a beautiful striped pattern, just like Chako’s father.
Marron, long time no see — part two! (I said that last time, too.) He answers me. So cute. His head is all shaggy and lots of feathers are falling out — what’s going on? Let me groom him… not much comes off. What a fine rooster. And look at this tail: the other day it looked odd, so I pulled on a feather and it came out. Sorry… He’s gotten so, so big.
Moo-chan’s walk
And by request, here’s Moo-chan — he just bit me. The sprinkler was still being adjusted, so he got soaked. Shall we go out? Want to go pick a fight? Shake it off. Come here, sit in the sun. Moo is a dangerous character. Please just take a nice, quiet walk… and the fight has started. After a good round of fighting, Moo-chan came back on his own. Done already? Apparently that’s his signal that the walk is over.
Thank you for watching Chicken Paradise Hawaii! See you in the next video.
