Someone’s been waiting very eagerly. Good morning! Good morning to you, too. Out of the way, out of the way! Why are you out?
The big hens are complaining about the heat again today. It’s not that hot! Even if it is, it won’t kill you, so come on out. Meanwhile, a bird who isn’t supposed to be tame at all — I forgot his name… the Prince’s… messenger? (That’s not a name, that’s a job title.) — suddenly hopped onto the arm of my mom, who was filming. Taro and Chico also started a fight, and for once, Taro won.
The dumpling team
These chicks came from someone who had picked up chicks and raised them but in the end couldn’t keep them. They originally had lovely Hawaiian names, but they all looked so alike that nobody could tell who was who, so I renamed them with Japanese nicknames.
The one with the round white head is Shiratama (a white rice-flour dumpling), and this one looks soy-sauce flavored, so she’s Mitarashi (a sweet soy-glazed dumpling). The dumpling team! Someone’s complaining: “Where did my Hawaiian name go?” No idea. They’re very cute. Oh, one more joined — what was this one again? I forgot. We need another dumpling name. Dark soy sauce? No? Sorry!
Cute little Shiratama loves people. When you hold her, she gets very sweet and flattens right down — that’s how a chick looks when she’s being spoiled.
Rex, Cheese and the roosters
Rex came to us as a half-grown chick, and now look how handsome he is. Who even are you anymore? I went to the trouble of letting him out, and he walked into someone else’s house to eat their food — it’s the same as yours! Then off he flew, breezily.
I put Cheese out on the playground, and he faced off with Rex and won, with the dignity of an older rooster. Piccolo, by far the strongest, took a turn too. Truth be told, Cheese isn’t much of a fighter.
Meet Okki-chan, caught red-handed
Okki-chan, you are under arrest! “Huh?” We have all the evidence right here. That scar on your chin: proof that you picked an unfair fight and won. When you fight, nothing good comes of it. And that egg yolk smeared on your left foot: you broke an egg and ate it. That’s a serious crime!
Okki-chan also has a record: in the past, she broke Kin-chan’s beak. Niji, what should we do with her? No idea, of course. Okki-chan, how should you be punished? “I don’t care what your situation is.” Stop that! Not a shred of remorse.
Thank you for watching Chicken Paradise! See you next time.
