Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all thirty from September in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.
Roosters, crows and all
Star gave us a cock-a-doodle-doo, Othello Black was feeling shy, and Hiyo-chan went from reserved to handsome to crowing his very own cock-a-doodle-doo. Dal was being a bit mean, Rex said hello, and Jack stood guard over a hen who is bigger than he is. And here’s proof that roosters can get along.
Around the flock
Glico and Kombu spent time together, one super-friendly chicken came to say hi, and others kicked up the sand. Barbie likes people, Cho, Monarch and Balloon made an appearance, and Pachita watched it all from somewhere safe and high.
Chicks and ducks
The chicks were busy digging (“dig here, peep peep!”), and the bigger chicks held a meeting of their own. Basil made the rounds on patrol, and we checked in on this year’s ducks.
Cats and a rabbit
A rabbit twitched its nose for a long time. Two siblings who used to be stray cats, a cat relaxing in a chair (until I bothered it), and a rumbling calico cat. To finish the month, Salmon copied Natsu and then couldn’t get down from a high place.
Odds and ends
It was hot again, Sunday had a nail trim, and there was a very fluffy bottom. Plus an “excuse me for a moment” and lunch time.
Thanks for following along with life at Chicken Paradise. New clips go up every few days on our YouTube channel.
