Every few days we post a short clip from the farm on YouTube. Here are all thirteen from January in one place — tap any of them to play it right here.
Hens and roosters
Lilac and Ivory are cozying up at home. Pachita is everyone’s favorite, because she’s friendly with people and chickens alike. André is a cool-looking rooster who is cute despite his looks, and one beautiful Rhode Island Red hen lays absolutely delicious eggs.
Growing up
Ishiko’s son has grown so big! And Grey’s grandchildren are getting close to the time when they’ll head out on their own.
Farm life
A new year has started, and we hope it’s filled with wonderful things. The farm grass is an endless snack, because chickens absolutely love leaves. One big baby is getting a bit heavy to carry on my back, and there’s a giant bird next door — up close, turkeys are surprisingly cute.
Cats
Mirei is a beautiful cat — though she made quite a face this month! She really is a beauty, with lovely eyes. And Princess Zelda, an adorable rescue cat, will be moving to the farm soon.
